Every morning I wake up to an image like this: Aberdeen and Allie. I mean that sun is bright, but their smiles and eyes are way brighter. Am I the luckiest guy in the world, or what??

Brian and I discovered the Korakia when I was preggers with Abbie. This Moroccan and Mediterranean-inspired villa (there are two sides to the resort) in Palm Springs became our secret romantic hide-a-way, where we’d escape for the ultimate relaxing vacation. There are no TV’s or phones in the rooms and no restaurant or bar on the grounds. This means that you can actually relax, and let the blood pressure drop 20 points.

Seriously, think about it : no phone, no TV - nothing to do all day but lounge in the pool. Nothing to do at night except watch a movie outside on the moonlight. (OK, there is one HUGE TV outside, but it is only put up at night, and they only show old Black and White French movies - Beauty and the Beast in subtitles has been on every time we have gone). Nothing beats sitting outside in a lounge chair, in the moonlight, in your swim suit, watching an old B&W French film, with your husband - nothing!

There pool is known for being one of the top five sexiest pools in America and the resort was called One of the Sexiest Hotels in America by the New York Times. If you ever need a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, this is the place! Your heart will thank you for it!
