Our new family experienced it’s first earthquake yesterday, and it was AWESOME! Los Angeles was rocked with a 5.4 slow rolling wave-like earthquake that reminded me of my long-boarding days in Huntington Beach. Remembering the safety drills from my early years at the Catholic school, I grabbed Abbie and ran to the nearest doorway. Safety from one of nature’s most frightening phenomena was OURS!
